do we get freebies on here, I'm just here for the goss
Posted by Rob.. (Site Admin) on Friday, 13th June 2008, 2:25pm
As with all sites this has it's good and bad times. There have been freebies posted it is not the site's fault if they do not get delivered.

There is a good community here if you ever want to get involved.

Posted by sarah592 on Friday, 13th June 2008, 6:04pm
Hope you gave her some facial reconstruction too.

I had a child minder who I thought I could trust and foolishly gave her my bank card as I had no time to get her wages from my bank and she helped herslf to £10 extra. I was not too bothered about the £10 it was the loss of trust. And if she had told me she was desperate for cash I would of helped her out.

if someone is daft enoughto give someone thier bank card they will get whatever they have coming to them as the world isnt trust worthy no more no like our parents parents streets where doors where left open nowadays its like putting a sig up come in and help yourself to whatever you wnat

I agree I was very naive on this occasion.

The childminder in question was registered with the local authorities and I know they have very strict rules and criminal records cheks are a must for anyone wishing to become a childminder.

I thought that I had a trustworthy person taking care of my children, How wrong I was.

A lesson leant.

hey on a different note, i wonder if middi has found a better site yet .i doubt it, i can just imagine her looking day and night.....'no, not as good. no, dont have friendly people. oh, this ones good, oh wait thats zfreebies and i slagged them off!!'
Posted by jakjak on Sunday, 15th June 2008, 7:30am
feisty... i'm a reg childminder had all the cheecks etc, however without sounding rude, they r only as good as the day there were done! they are not updated or anything, bad yep, thats Ofsted for u!
Posted by Marie. on Sunday, 15th June 2008, 10:37am
Thanks Marie, I assumed regular checks would be carried out.

Since that incident I only used childminders who had been reccomended to me.

How is your new venture going ?
Posted by feistychick on Sunday, 15th June 2008, 11:22am
unfort they aren't although Ofsted are changing at the mo, and may be bringing it in,

i'm gettin there lol, although i think ppl are finding it hard to afford child care at the min, so i'm still looking for children to mind! will get there in the end! x

I love this site I know I'm one of the lurkers rather than the regular contributors but I still love to see what people have had in the post and their little bits of news etc. I suppose this is a really selfish thought but its the people who contribute loads and do all that work that give a lot of people like me somewhere we can come for a little cheering up
Posted by thecatsmother on Thursday, 3rd July 2008, 1:28pm
Not selfish at all the cats mother, we all need cheering up some times & zfreebies are normally a happy cheery lot.
Don't take any notice at the ones moaning all the time.
