my sister tried ivf she paid loads out and ended up fluffin things up so the doctor said she can have it done on nhs and it worked my neice will be 2 in july so sarah go 4 it huni i wish i had the money to

dont think about it, relax, have some fun n enjoy the moment, set the sceane first, have a nice meal n have fun.
dont tence up, dont think about it the more you do the more you will get annoyed n frustrated n your body will clam up n make it harder to get pregnant. n if after say six months still no joy see ya doc n get some advice n yourselves checked, make sure youll all ok ehow about the option of adopting??? youever given that a thought?...as my brother in law;s sister tried to have her own kid n couldnt, then she adopted a kid, n low n behold a year later she fell pregnant,,,

i started takeing folic acid as i heard that it helps but im late by 2 days and was just wandering in any body knows if its the pills doin this to me as i dont want be thinking im pregnant when im not id go to my doctors but hes only good for giving out the pill and he makes me feel like an idiot lol please help

folic acid dont make u late its just a tablet for iron to make your baby healthy i would get a test from your local chemist they do pregnancy test for 3 to 4 pound now they do the test for you good luck love sarah xxx

I am also trying, I had a massive cyst removed from my ovary in 2000 and I am just praying that it hasnt messed up my chances. Was also on the pill for years and heard that this can affect things? anyone know?

why dont you have a chat with your doctor or go to a well women clinic n have a chat to them if your that concernd about it?. n dont forget that every bodys body clock is different n we allreact differently to pills etc,, some times you can miss a whole month of your cycle and then start normaly again in the following month,,, n meny factors may also muck up your monthly cycle, ie stresss, tension, n meny other things,,, i wouldnt worry if you miss one monthly cycle, its when you get to the third missed cycle that you should then do a test or get it checked..

Sarah any luck yet? I was on the pill for 10 years and when I quit it took 1 year to get pregnant. The doctor and my mother told me to count days from 1st day of menstrual cycle. count 14 days and mark calandar then count 14 days from the day you are suppose to start the next month backwards and mark calendar. The days that overlap are conception days. Also use a pillow under your butt while having sex and dont get up til the next morning to clean up. Some women have a tilt in their pelvis and the semen runs out before you can get pregnant. Using these 2 methods is how I got pregnant. Good Luck.

Becky try getting some cold water spray in a can, and sparying your other halfs neither regeins this speeds up the little swimmers, it does work cause that is how I got caught on my 2nd I told my cousin about this and she has had 2 more prgnancys since, also try just after your cycle has finished but b careful doing it this way I had twins lol any way good luck and tc xx

I had 2 miscarriages but went on to have a baby so it does happen it just takes time.

Ouvalation kits help, a bit pricey,but you'll know exactly when

You can buy an ouvlation kit so you'll know for definate when your ouvalating.As you are most likely to conceive at that time.

It took us about 8 months to get pregnant with Ellie. I cut out coffee, and that worked!

I found out when I had my c-section for our son Harrison in Dec 2005 that I have polycystic ovaries, so am forever thankful that I have my 2 lovely kids.

Folic acid won't do anything to your periods bec,they good to take if your trying as they are important for your babys health
and development.I'm taking them aswell just in case I get pregnant.

We used an ovulation prediction test. It worked 1st cycle.

i went through all that they may put you on clomid

i had the scan becky and had my tubes checked to see if they were blocked had to go through a few tests then they put me on clomid which produce more eggs but no luck after 6 months went back to the hospital who put me on the ivf list ive been on for 12 months now..its a long road but worth it in the long run

My brother had IVF it worked 1st time he is the father of twins. Keep trying you will get there

Not sure....he had a very low sperm count due to medication he was taking whilst waiting for a kidney transplant. He was only 19 at the time they froze his little men and used them later on. This all happened in Middlesbro, he was told it was a case of now or never as his count was decreasing.

i got my apointment thru if the scan shows nothings wrong then i got have a probe thing put in me from down there ewwwwww im not lookin forward 2 that

ive had ivf twice didnt work for me ,didnt respond to drugs so next time going to use different drug on me ,i been trying for baby for seven years but had a large op when i was 17 so they say i might have alot of scar tissue i have severe period pains every month and is so depressing ,my sisters are going to try and raise money for my next lot of ivf by doing half marathon next year .ive just got to think positive

Im due in 4 weeks (its the final countdown!!).

I wasnt trying, it just happened on my second occasion of sleeping with the father (I have previously been told I cant have children).

In truth, I dont think *much* helps, as a model and fresh out of a break up at the time, I was out a lot drinking, not eating right and my bmi was lower than is recommended. I dont smoke or do drugs however.

Someone said something about folic acid being iron...er, no folic acid is exactly that, its to lessen chances of spina bifida (weak spine). When pregnant you have a higher chance of becoming anaemic, which is what you take the iron for (a low red blood count, which makes it difficult for the blood to transport oxygen round the body), but not everyone needs it.

New on here.... Came accross this page and has cheered me up!
I have miscarried twice and have not got any children. All brothers and sisters have got kids! and feels that i never will!

Then if i do get pregnant i will be so scared of miscarrying again!

But reading some of these posts has reinforced what i am being told by all - TO RELAX and that people do go on to have a baby after even miscarrying twice... It is so hard to do... i pretend to myself i am relaxing about it but really im not!

i think i may be pregnant 2weeks late coming on my period.
just told my hubby and he didnt seem impressed,in fact he was far from it.
ill wait till tuesday and then do a test

hi, quite new to this. wish i had seen this week i 1st began trying in june 2006 when i got wed.

i wasnt ovulating for 2-3 months and i wasnt pregnant. went to docs who sent me for blood test. got referred to hosp for scan on ovaries and tubes. found out i had pcos.

got prescribed metphormin and was pregnant within a month!
our little boy is due october 2008!!!

so dont give up hope, miracles do happen. xx

Hi Princess I had a son Oct 12th 2007 and every day has been a pleasure he is a lovely placid baby and has given me hours of joy.

I hope you enjoy the last months of your pregnany as believe it or not you will miss being pregnant and savour each moment when your son is born as he will grow so fast.

I am up so early as Andrew is teething.....the joys of parenting

congratulations! it's an amazing feeling when you feel the baby moving around. and everytime you hear the heartbeat.

i love it when he kicks my husband in the head everytime he has a listen. it's so funny!
