This is my recipe which i adapted from 1 i found on the internet, It made 16 good sized flapjacks (the slightly crunchy kind)
I used the foil tins that some bought flapjacks came in

150g butter or marg
2 generous tablespoons of golden syrup
130g light brown sugar
350g porridge oats

Place everything, apart from the oats, into a pan, heat until the butter melts & the sugar dissolves.
Take off the heat, add the oats & combine well.
Spread well in 2 tins, mine are 8x8 inches.
Bake for 15-20 mins at 180 or gas mark 4.

Mark into 8 pieces per tin while they are hot then leave to cool completely before turning out.
The kids want me to make more today & add chocolate chips!
