I'm sure you will find tons on the net Kym but here's 1 for you

MARSHMALLOW CRISPY CAKES

250g/9oz toffees
50g/2oz butter
45ml/3tbsp milk
115g/4oz marshmallows
175g/6oz rice krispies

1. Lightly brush a 20x33cm/8x13 inch roasting tin with a little vegetable oil.
Put the toffees, butter & milk in a pan & heat gently, stirring until the toffees have melted.

2. Add the marshmallows & rice Krispies until well mixed & the marshmallows have melted.

3. Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin, level the surface & leave to set.

4. When cool & hard, cut the crispy cakes into squares, carefully remove from the tin & put into paper cases.

TIPS:
Melt the mixture over a low heat so it doesn't burn.
For really young children, let them combine the ingredients after an adult has melted them.
Try making this with cornflakes, coco pops or any other cereal.

Enjoy

The kids can get there hands in to make these

CHEESE STRAWS

oil for greasing
175g/6oz plain flour
75g/3oz butter cut into small pieces
115g/4oz grated cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten

1. Pre heat oven to 200 c/400 f Gas 6.
Lightly brush 2 baking trays with oil.
Place the flour in a bowl & rub in the butter.

2. Stir in the grated cheese.
Keep a bit of the beaten egg for glazing & stir the rest into the mixture.
Mix to a smooth dough, adding a little water if necessary.

3. Knead lightly. then roll out on a floured surface to a 30x20cm/12x8inch rectangle, brush with the remaining egg.

4. Cut into 7.5x1cm/3x1/2 inch strips & space slightly apart on the baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 mins, until golden brown.
Loosen slightly but leave to cool on the baking sheets.

Tip:
Try spreading a thin layer of Marmite on the top before baking
